characteristics of igt veneto red wine
Aroma: intense, harmonious, and spicy aromas with typical notes of red fruit.
Taste: strong and balanced flavor.
Classic red vinification of well-ripened grapes. Maceration on the skins lasts about 7 days to allow maximum extraction of the tannins that the skin and flesh of the berry contain.

Something more
A journey toward increasingly sustainable agriculture!
The name "Konti-ki" is inspired by the "Kon-Tiki," the raft used by Norwegian explorer Heyerdahl on his 1947 expedition across the Pacific Ocean from South America to the islands of Polynesia. The boat was so named after an ancient Incan name for the rain god (Kon).
For us, each of the Piwi wines represents a stop on a journey into a new and unexplored world that we are experiencing day by day. The names chosen for the PIWI wines bring back the imagery of exploration, travel and discovery: "Huakai" represents the journey; "Kontiki" the means used to land at the final destination; "Hoopa" and "Hurrah" the moment of rejoicing with the group for having reached the destination.
Our journey into the world of PIWI wines is told by the dragonfly, the ambassador of "clean" agriculture. The label depicts "Mandalas": exotic designs that refer to the tropical scents that PIWI wines manifest.

fungal disease-resistant grape varieties
PIWI grape varieties are naturally resistant to major fungal diseases, such as downy mildew and powdery mildew, and allow for a drastic reduction in the use of chemical treatments. This characteristic makes them particularly suitable for organic farming, ensuring more sustainable and environmentally friendly cultivation.
PIWI grapes are the result of years of research and selection, the fruit of targeted cross-pollination between Vitis vinifera varieties, prized for the quality of their wines, and American grape varieties, which are naturally more resistant. This makes it possible to combine oenological quality, plant health, and organic production, enhancing the work of man and respect for the land.

piwi: happy wine
in collaboration with Silvia Tosi
What happens when an innovative wine meets a one-of-a-kind artist?
Something special is born, with a scent of adventure, curiosity, and love. This is how the collaboration between our winery and the art of Silvia Tosi, an illustrator with an unmistakable style, came about, to recount—with new eyes and new colors—the soul of our PIWI wines.
An interpretation that took shape live, atVinitaly 2025, where Silvia decorated two bottles, transforming them into unique works of art.
